A fan of fashionable adventure? Ford has combined the comforts of SUV with Camper Van’s adventure and results couldn’t be any more promising. Rough exterior, comfortable seats, enough luggage room might make the new Ford Tourneo and Transit Connect Active a perfect companion to your camping trip.

Ford launched Active range for Tourneo and Transit Connect on July 20, 2020. With some newly added features, Ford is all ready to take adventure to the next level.

What’s New?

Here is all new Ford Tourneo and Transit Connect Active has to offer:Exterior: Ford has created Rugged and distinctive styling with roof rails to carry over-sized equipment, front and rear skid plates for a tougher appearance, additional side cladding, mirror caps, wheel arches and rear bumpers. Five 17-inch alloy wheels with dark frames, mesh grille and active badges completes the ever ready for adventure style.

Engine: Both models will run on 1.5‑litre EcoBlue diesel engine with advance fuel injection, turbocharging and emission-control technologies with a low-friction design for a better performance and reduced fuel consumption.

Driving: 8-speed automatic or 6-speed manual transmissions are promising a smooth driving experience.

Lift: The ride height life (24 mm at front and 9 mm at rear) will be beneficial for a better clearance over roughed roads.

mLSD: Both models will offer optional Mechanical Limited Slip differential to provide better friction in low-grip areas.

Interior: Special seat trip pattern and stitching, blue accents and active branding will make an appearance on both active models. Tourneo active will be available in luxurious 5 and 7 passenger models.

Luggage room: Tourneo Connect Active’s interior is specially designed for a specious and flexible luggage room. 5 seat van will has 60/40 foldable second row for extra space while 7-passenger van foldable to floor third row for luggage room.

The vans will be available to order soon and Ford is promising to deliver the vehicles by end of the year.
